Tour Plan
Begin your journey from Cochin to Leh and head to your hotel, where you can
settle in and take it easy for the day.
Since Leh is located at an altitude of over 11,000 ft, the day is for
acclimatization to help your body adjust to the high altitude. It’s
advisable to stay hydrated and avoid any physical strain.
Spend the day resting at the hotel. In the evening, attend a short briefing
by your Trip Captain covering the itinerary, safety tips and important
travel guidelines.

Explore some of Leh’s key attractions.
Visit the Sangam, where the Zanskar and Indus rivers meet, creating a
striking visual contrast. Continue to Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, a peaceful and
spiritually significant site.
Stop at Magnetic Hill, known for its unique optical illusion where vehicles
appear to move uphill on their own. Pay a visit to the Hall of Fame, a
museum maintained by the Indian Army that highlights stories of bravery and
sacrifice.
Later, head to Shanti Stupa, a white-domed structure offering wide views of
Leh and the surrounding mountains, especially beautiful around
sunset.
In the evening, you can spend time exploring local markets and
cafes.

Begin your journey towards Nubra Valley, one of the most scenic regions in
Ladakh.
Drive through Khardung La Pass, among the highest motorable roads in the
world, with views of snow-covered peaks and rugged terrain.
On reaching Nubra Valley, check in to your campsite. Later, visit the Hunder
Sand Dunes, where you can enjoy a ride on the unique double-hump Bactrian
camels or try ATV rides (optional).
Spend the evening soaking in the peaceful surroundings before
dinner.

Take a scenic drive to Turtuk, one of the northernmost villages in India,
located near the Indo-Pak border.
The route follows the Shyok River, offering beautiful views of the
surrounding mountains. Turtuk is known for its apricot orchards, Balti
culture and quiet village setting.
Explore the village on foot, interact with locals and visit the Balti Museum
to learn about the region’s heritage. You can also spend some time by the
riverside.
Return to Nubra Valley by evening and relax at your campsite.

Travel towards Pangong Lake, one of Ladakh’s most iconic highlights.
On the way, visit Diskit Monastery, home to a large Maitreya Buddha statue
overlooking the valley. Continue the drive through changing landscapes until
you reach Pangong Lake, famous for its ever-changing shades of blue and its
appearance in popular Bollywood films. Check in to your lakeside
accommodation and spend time enjoying the peaceful surroundings. At night,
if the weather permits, witness a spectacular stargazing experience under
the clear Himalayan sky.

Begin your journey back to Leh, taking in the last views of Pangong
Lake.
Drive through Chang La Pass, another high-altitude mountain pass known for
its scenic beauty.
On the way, visit Shey Palace, once the summer residence of Ladakh’s royal
family and Thiksey Monastery, known for its impressive architecture and
peaceful setting.
On arrival in Leh, check in to your hotel and relax.

Cochin.
